There are also cases when an employer does not want to see a formal resume of a candidate. Then this is directly stipulated in the job description, there is also an alternative proposed as a rule, in your own words, state in the body of the letter with the response to the vacancy what you can do and how you can be useful. But it is practiced infrequently.

The main task of the resume from the point of view of the applicant for the vacancy is to convince the employer of the expediency of further interaction with this candidate. In turn, an employer, at the stage of reading a resume, needs to understand who exactly of the candidates who responded to the ad should spend working time at further stages of selection. Often, the employer seeks to simultaneously close several vacant positions in different departments, and the responses to each such vacancy pass through the same service staff, whose staff may be limited. Therefore, if you want your resume not to get lost in the general stream, do not forget to designate the specific vacancy for which you are applying, both in the subject of the letter with the response, and in the text of the summary, where the section “Objective” is provided for this. It is customary to write in it: “Getting a position of such and such”. You can also specify the name of the company, but be careful. When sending summaries to different companies, there is a great risk that another document with such text will get to the wrong address, and this is almost a 100% guarantee of sending it to the recycle bin.
